What is Briki?
A wiki is a website that allows users to add, edit, and update the content of any number of interlinked web pages via web browser (think Wikipedia). The benefit of this open source of information is collaboration—a large number of people can easily share their collective knowledge for the betterment of the group.
Briki is a wiki for people who care about commercial real estate.
At www.briki.com, users can view, edit, and add content about any commercial property to the site’s dedicated web page, or “jacket.” Information might include commentary, photos, maps, publicly-available environmental data, property files, or whatever data users care to add.
Who is behind the site?
Environmental Data Resources created this experimental site a few years ago to help us better understand the industry’s appetite for open-source property data collection.
How can I use the Briki?
View a property page. Take information of interest. Generate a report or flyer. While you're at it, remember to give something in return. Upload a picture. Contribute to an ongoing discussion. Share details about acreage, tenants, or the number of stories in a given building. It's easy--and fun--to search by commercial property and get started!
